Shipping and Return Information

Your order will ship the next business day (Monday through Friday). If you place your order on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday it will ship the next business day which would be Monday. 

Things to Consider When Choosing Your Shipping Option

  • Contact Us if you need your item right away (like this weekend). We are happy to help you choose a shipping option that will meet your needs. 
  • UPS Second Day Air delivery (UPS 2 Day) does not delivery on Saturday.
  • UPS Next Day Air delivery (UPS Overnight) does not deliver on Saturday.

International Shipping Information

(Shipments Outside of the U.S.)

 Import Duty and Taxes

  • Since this is an international shipment, import duty and taxes may apply to your order. We are not able to give you a quote for import duty and taxes prior to you shipment being sent to you. We want you to realize that this can be expensive, especially in EU countries. You can estimate additional expenses with this import duty and taxes calculator
  • UPS will often prepay import duty and tax fees for you and then submit a bill to you for the fees they paid. They do this to expedite clearance of your package through customs. Please understand that these additional fees are coming from your government and are not coming from us (Children's Formal Attire). 
  • We cannot declare a reduced shipment value amount or say your order is a gift in order to lessen the import duty and taxes charged by your country. We feel doing this would be dishonest.  

Shipping Information

  • APO addresses (Alaska, Hawaii) are considered domestic (within the U.S.) orders and may opt to use our regular USPS options. 
  • International shipping rates through UPS are quoted directly from UPS (excluding duty) based on package weight.  UPS shipments generally deliver in 2-3 business days. You can determine these costs using our "Estimated Shipping" at checkout. 
  • All international orders ship within one business day. 

Payment

  • All prices are listed in US Dollars. You can use this currency exchange calculator to calculate your exchange rate.
  • Purchases through our website can be made using any major credit card using our checkout system, PayPal or Amazon Pay

Returns and Exchanges

Return Policy and Information

  • Your purchase at Children's Formal Attire comes with 100% satisfaction guaranteed. If you are not happy with your purchase, simply return it within 14 days. Once it has been returned we will promptly refund your purchase.
  • All returned items must be unused, with all hang tags and labels in their original positions in order to receive a refund. 
  • We cannot accept returns or exchanges of worn, soiled or washed, monogrammed or customized articles.

Exchange Policy and Information

  • If you requested the wrong size or item and need to exchange it for another size or item, a shipping charge will apply. If we made a mistake with your order, we will not charge you for shipping to exchanged your item.
  • Please make sure to use our sizing chart to determine the correct size the first time you order. We highly advice you to not determine the correct size by your child's age, weight, or the size they are currently wearing in other clothing brands. If you use our sizing chart to determine the correct size, you will get a good fit and won't have the extra expense of returning an item.

How to Return or Exchange an Item

  • Please contact us to get a return authorization number (R.A. number). We cannot process your return without an R.A. number, so make sure to contact us to get your R.A. number before you ship your return. You may contact us by filling out the form on our contact page, by calling us, or through email. All of our contact information can be found on our "contact us" page.
  • If there are any problems with the item you are returning, please clearly mark problem areas with removable tape. If the tape may damage the garment, please add a descriptive note for us. Doing this will help us quickly identify the problem you detected. 
  • Enclose a copy of the R.A. form we sent you to return the item(s) within 14 days of the date the R.A. number was issued. An R.A. number is valid for 14 days only. After 14 days the R.A. number is voided and not refund or credit will be granted. 
  • In order to receive credit when returning items, all original items of that set must be present set (hangers, slips, booties, hats, etc.)
  • Upon receipt of your shipment to us, please allow three (3) working days to review your findings and when appropriate we will refund your purchase. It is not uncommon to take one (1) week for your shipment to arrive to us. When coupled with three (3) days review and return mail, your refund should be completed no later than two weeks after you return your purchases to us.

Returnable vs. Non-Returnable Items

Non-defective returned items must be in new original condition so they can be returned to stock. We cannot accept returns for items that have been damaged by you the customer or that are missing original pieces. 

Here are some examples of items that are NOT returnable:

  • Soiled (mother’s makeup stains, baby stains, grease, food stains, etc.)
  • Permeated by tobacco or other strong odors.
  • Incomplete sets (Missing a keepsake bag, heirloom hanger, slip, bonnet, hat, etc.)
  • Damaged by customer.
  • Weather, water or sun damaged.

A refund or credit will not be issued for non returnable items. You will be notified if a return does not warrant a credit and will be given the opportunity to decide the disposition of the item(s) in question.

Return freight is generally the responsibility of you the customer unless the situation dictates otherwise.

Customers are not responsible for items damaged in shipment or other inherent flaws. Return shipping will be arranged or refunded as needed.

Please remember, Children's Formal Attire Return Authorization (RA) number is required for all returned items.
